Design Star awarded designer and researcher, specialising in embodied and somaesthetic experience design. Currently consulting on UX for enterprise AI.
My work spans practice-based research in embodied and somatic design, and applied experience design in contexts where people encounter technology and each other.
Bodies Inform, my practice-based PhD, explores encounters as a unique approach to embodied design research, working with embodied practitioners from other disciplines including theatre, performance and indoor climbing for professional services.
Alongside academic research, I help enterprises across a variety of sectors on the UX research and design of their digital product. This work currently focuses on the design of AI-enabled knowledge and research platforms for professional services.
I also write more informally and reflectively about my research and practices. Ongoing and selected writing is available here.
